About

ceramics diary...sharing clay stories...

Making pottery can be therapeutic. It brings us not only closer to nature but also to our nature. Clay sculpting is to our soul, what paint is to a canvas. Every touch, firm and soft, and texture, smooth and rough, births form to our thoughts. Clay is the primary material we work with. We love to experiment with clay because it allows us to express our creativity in a tangible manner. We fell in love with its naturalness, endurance, and ubiquity but still struggle to embrace its brittleness and lack of plasticity. However, this challenging nature yet somehow leads us to see the reality of surprises, failures, frustrations, excitements, and enjoyments of life as ceramists.

...life...sometimes...is clay...
